Leading software-driven technology company TransAct Technologies Incorporated has signed a deal with Sky River Casino to supply printing solutions for the gaming venue’s slot machines.

The newly opened casino is located in Elk Grove, California, and according to the contact, TransAct will provide its high-powered Epic Edge TITO printer to every slot machine located on the gaming floor’s broad 100,000 square foot.

Sky River Casino was built and developed by Boyd Gaming for the Wilton Rancheria Tribe. The casino began operations at midnight on August 16 and consists of 2,000 slot machines along with 80 table games, all operated by Boyd Gaming.

TransAct’s Chief Executive Officer, Bart Shuldman, commented on the partnership and revealed that the printing solutions company was excited to be a part of the gaming venue’s desire to cater to customers as best they could.

“TransAct is ecstatic to support Sky River Casino’s commitment to giving guests a top-notch gaming experience, and the Epic Edge is the perfect fit to meet their goals,” said Shuldman.

Boyd Gaming also spoke on the partnership via the company’s Senior Vice President, Chris Gibase. The Senior VP shed light on Sky River Casino’s dedication to ensuring that its customers were given the best service in their establishment.

“Sky River Casino is focused on providing the best customer experience, and we selected the Epic Edge for its superior performance and features,” said Gibase.

TransAct’s Epic Edge TITO printer features an Aston 300 DPI resolution which will ensure superior ticket readability as well as its appearance and acceptance by bill validates. The company’s top-of-class printer also comes with a single board for USB and serial connection.

The Epic Edge features a dual interface that provides support for a wide range of both new and legacy games on just one printer. This feature is an operator favorite mainly because it aids in the reduction of issues like excess printer inventory.

Although the gaming venue was opened weeks ago, Sky River Casino is continuously making attempts to provide customers with the best experience both in and away from the gambling area. Besides its gaming section, the establishment boasts an impressive list of food options consisting of 17 restaurants and bars.

The location of the casino was previously an abandoned mall complex; however, Boyd Gaming transformed the building and reportedly has future plans to include a spa and hotel.

In October, Sky River Casino partnered with Konami Gaming to launch a cashless gaming option. The purpose of the move was to show the company’s commitment to its customers and ensure they have the best experience while there.

The California casino also made provision for the section of patrons skeptical about the cashless gaming system. Sky River Casino notably provides CashClub Wallet digital solution via Everi Holdings, which will ensure an easy payment transaction for slot pay.

TransAct, on its part, has distributed more than 3.3 million printers and terminals worldwide under the company’s AccuDate, EPICENTRAL, BOHA!, Ithaca, Epic, and Printrex brands.

In addition to supplying the printers, TransAct has catered to its partners’ needs by providing commendable customer service, accessories, and spare parts to boost the already-installed product. The technology company has partners from a vast number of industries, including oil and gas, casino and gaming, food service, and point-of-sale automation.
