GiG sign up first poker client as OneTimePoker comes aboard
Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has signed its first poker client adding to its business-to-business (B2B) portfolio in a deal they termed a “milestone”.
Starting from the first quarter of 2019, the gaming service company will provide products to OneTimePoker.
GiG signed an agreement with Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) three years ago to provide poker to B2B clients through its GiG core platform.
With the deal, GiG will provide poker and ‘casino in poker’ (where the player plays against the casino rather than other players) with it to be powered by MPN while other third-party casino content through will come its own platform.
The chief executive of GiG, Robin Reed, in his comment on the deal with OneTimePoker, said it was exciting to be expanding their poker reach.
“We look forward to supporting the expansion of its brand into further GiG product verticals within our ecosystem through 2019, offering their poker community one-stop access to all their entertainment needs,” he said.
Since its launch in January 2015, over 40 clients have signed onto the GiG Core platform. It started by hosting GiG’s brands, Betspin and Guts, after which its first external client started operating on the platform in September 2015. By the end of 2017, 34 brands were operating on the platform.
The deal is the latest to be signed since GiG decided not to bring in new clients because it was busily developing Hard Rock Casino’s platform in New Jersey.
The company also named Latvian operator 11.lv as the first client of its new GiG Sports Betting Services last month. Mr Green also became its first client to use the GiG Comply product.
