Lady Luck acquires ReelNRG games studio in $850k deal
Lady Luck Games recently finalised a deal to acquire ReelNRG, a London-based casino games studio, for a total price of US$850,000. The agreement marks a new start for both companies as it means stakeholders from each side will get to enjoy an array of online casino games.
ReelNRG’s CEO, Calvin Kent, pointed out that the acquisition by LL Lucky Games – Lady Luck’s parent company – will enable the software provider to reach a wider customer base by offering a variety of casino products and services. Kent also said that through the partnership, ReelNRG will be able to improve its content to keep up with Lady Luck’s online casino products.
When the two companies were in talks, it was agreed that ReelNRG will still operate independently once the contract is acted upon. But LL Lucky Games also pointed out its intention to cross-sell its products, practice price optimisation, and share licences and technologies with the UK studio in the future.
On the topic, the CEO of LL Lucky Games said that the acquisition enables the firm to have access to ReelNRG’s customer base and licences. He also said that the deal means that Lady Luck will acquire the 100-plus online casino games from ReelNRG.
