Turn a brutal cooler into a banner moment at Stake.com. If your monster hand gets cracked at showdown—under the right conditions—the $1,000,000 Bad Beat Jackpot pays out instantly to the table.

How It Works

  1. Join a Ring Game table that shows the Bad Beat Jackpot icon in the lobby
  2. Play Hold’em or Omaha
  3. If a qualifying losing hand hits at showdown, the jackpot is awarded automatically

Bad Beat Trigger Hands

  • Hold’em: AAAJJ (Aces full of Jacks) or better
  • Omaha: 2222x (quads deuces) or better

Eligibility Checklist

  • The hand must go to showdown
  • Both winner and loser use exactly 2 hole cards to make their final hand
  • For a four of a kind to qualify, the losing player’s hole cards must include a pocket pair
  • At least 4 players must be dealt in to the hand
  • If the board is run multiple times, only the first board can trigger the jackpot
  • Players not dealt hole cards are ineligible
  • Any player dealt into a potential jackpot hand must remain at the table until the hand ends to be eligible

Jackpot Payout Split (per blind level pool)

  • Bad Beat Winner (pot loser): 8%
  • Bad Beat Opponent (pot winner): 5%
  • Other Players at the table (split equally): 3%

Each blind level has its own jackpot pool; payout percentages are the same at every level.

Jackpot Fund & Stake Distribution

  • Hold’em and Omaha share the same jackpot fund
  • 2.5% of all Ring Game rake feeds the jackpot fund
  • Each Ring Game stake has a separate pool with the following distribution:
StakeShare of Jackpot Fund
$2.50 / $556.67%
$1 / $222.67%
$0.50 / $111.33%
$0.25 / $0.505.66%
$0.10 / $0.202.27%
$0.05 / $0.101.13%
$0.01 / $0.020.22%

Terms & Conditions (Key Points)

  • Only Ring Game tables showing the Bad Beat Jackpot icon qualify
  • Not available for non‑Ring Game formats
  • Prizes are awarded immediately at the end of the hand and credited to player wallets
  • Check transaction history to view previous jackpot wins
  • Leaving the table before the jackpot triggers means no payout
  • Stake.com terms apply

Ready to turn a nightmare river into a dream payout at Stake? Take a seat at a qualifying Ring Game table and let the cards fall—one showdown could unlock a slice of the $1,000,000 Bad Beat Jackpot.
