Microgaming appoint new COO

Microgaming Poker NetworkMicrogaming has upped its commitment to online poker with the Universal Championship of Poker (UCOP) set to return.

Launched last year, UCOP runs from May 6 until May 20, 2018, and boasts over 60 tournaments and €500,000 guaranteed in prizes.

The UCOP: Full Throttle will also feature a leaderboard on which players will accrue points from all tournaments, with over €5000 in cash prizes to be given away and a dream trip to the united Kingdom for a motorsports experience.

The person in “pole position” after the tournaments win a trip to the UK with a friend, where they will enjoy a day dedicated to motorsports, including the experience of racing in a 4×4 Palmer Jaguar and sitting in a Formula 3000 single seater.

The tournament will once again be open to Georgian players, with websites including 32Red and Adjarabet just some of the possible places to enter.

“MPN continues to offer once-in-a-lifetime ‘bucket list’ experiences to players, and this edition of UCOP is no different,” Head of Product (Network Games) at Microgaming Alex Scott said.

“As a petrol head myself I’m already jealous of whoever wins this prize and jets off to London to race some of the world’s finest performance cars.

“Our unique Universal Championship of Poker continues to deliver thrills both on and off the felt, and with the addition of Adjarabet players to the mix once again, this edition of UCOP promises to be the most exciting yet.”

Satellites for the MPN tournament are currently running at casinos with the poker product integrated, including 32Red.com and other Microgaming Casinos.
