32Red and Roxy Palace exit the Australian market

32Red and Roxy Palace exit Aus market

32Red and Roxy Palace exit Aus marketThe end is near for the Australian online gambling industry with two prominent gambling sites preparing to exit.

From April 19, both 32Red and Roxy Palace are no longer available to Australian casino players.

The Interactive Gambling Amendment bill 2016 has been impacting the gambling industry since its inception last year, and now the impending legislative changes have operators preparing to withdraw.

Other gambling operators (see below) have already withdrawn their services from the Australian market, and now 32Red Pic, operators of the 32Red online gambling sites and Roxy Palace, has emailed its players to inform them services are no longer available.

The Gibraltar gambling operator, which offered its casino players a variety of bonuses, remains optimistic about its future in the country stating “we look forward to the day when 32Red Plc is once again able to provide a service to players in Australia, until then, if you have a balance in your account, please log in as soon as possible to request a withdrawal.”

This follows the announcement 32Red no longer accepts Australian sign ups.

Players now have the next week to sort their funds out. If you have any problems withdrawing the money you can contact the casino’s support for more information.

Other operators are slow to make any movements – they have until May when the secondary amendments and the bill will be discussed again by the lower house before most likely being enforced.

PokerStars will likely stay up until the laws push the popular poker company out. Australian players can still participate in a number of tournaments available for the time being.

We will keep you updated here on any other exits.
