Evolution opens live casino studio in United States

Evolution Gaming, as part of its efforts to grow the company’s presence in the wider North American market, has opened a purpose-built live casino production studio in the US.

This makes it the first gaming company in the US to open such a facility, with most of the existing facilities which cater to North America being hosted in Eastern Europe and Asia.

The facility, located in New Jersey, is the company’s tenth studio worldwide. Evolution Gaming announced the plans last month and have delivered as expected.

With the studio, the company can offer live casino solutions for clients in the US to offer such services to players on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

It plans to use the facility to offer several games in the future but will initially feature 10 online live tables, with casino staples like blackjack, roulette and baccarat amongst the offering.

Evolution works with several casino operators and recently added to its client portfolio New Jersey-based Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. It also works with Ocean Resort Casino Atlantic City, 888 Casino, Rush Street Interactive and Resorts Casino Hotel.

The new facility also features dedicated tables, which operators can use for live sporting event promotions.

“Our entry into the US market has been a carefully considered long-term project,” Chief Executive of Evolution Martin Carlesund said.

“Back in 2013 Evolution became the first live casino provider to gain New Jersey Preliminary Waiver approval.

“Having closely monitored US market developments over the past few years, while reinforcing our position as live casino market leaders in Europe, we believe that now is the right time to launch with a full-fledged studio facility for the US.”
