Highroller Online Casino sold to Ellmount Gaming
Recently the Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) sold their Highroller Casino B2C brand to Ellmount Gaming for €7 million.
GiG launched Highroller.com in December of 2017 and for the first half of this year the company had a revenue stream of €1.4 million but had a negative EBITDA of €200,000.
At first Highroller will operate under the existing license from GiG courtesy of a white label agreement. It is the expectation that it is to migrate to the license for Ellmount Gaming after the deal is approved by a regulatory agency.
Ellmount Gaming also operates the brand of CasinoRoom.com and it will now be a Gaming Innovation Group B2B customer and they will still operate Highroller and will use the platform service of GIG as well as their front-end solution and various services for management operations.
This deal is in congruence with the GiG strategy in order to bring more focus on their Risk.com casino brand, which is their leading brand, and that brand is 71% of the B2C revenue for GiG.
Guts.com is the second-biggest brand of the company and they are currently increasing their development in terms of sports wagering.
Kaboo and Thrills are their two other brands and with all of them they look to get a higher revenue stream by more engagement with their customers and loyalty from those customers already in the fold.
“The sale of Highroller is a confirmation of our discipline and focus as we are growing Rizk.com to become a Tier 1 casino operator in select markets,” said Robin Reed, GiG chief executive.
“Through this agreement, we gain increased cash flow, a strong B2B partner and Highroller will get the marketing muscle and focus it deserves.
“The brand was launched only two years ago and with this sale, it has returned three-digit ROI for GiG.
“I am looking forward to seeing the brand prosper in the hands of very capable owners, empowered by our full suite of products and services.”
