VIP trip for two on the Fortune Lounge Cruise at Royal Vegas
Want to sail the seas with a margarita in hand while being pampered with the finest of VIP treatment? Thanks to Royal Vegas Casino, that dream is about to be a reality for 50 lucky online casino players and their chosen partners, with the annual Fortune Lounge Cruise promotion now in full swing.
If you’re a veteran online gambler, chances are you’re already familiar with this highly sought after promo as it’s been running at the Fortune Lounge Group of casinos since 2006, but for those not in the know, when it comes to prizes offered by Internet casinos, this one is the mother lode.
The winner of a place on the cruise will receive a ticket for themselves and a guest of their choice, with flights to the closest port of departure to be reimbursed. Once on board the luxury ship, guests are personally taken care of by the VIP team to ensure the trip goes down in the history books.
The prizes don’t stop there, with more ways to win cash aboard the cruise, with slots tournaments giving guests the chance to return home with a hefty wad of money. The destination of this year’s cruise is yet to be announced, but with previous events covering such spectacular Caribbean locales as the Bahamas, Saint Martin, Saint Thomas, Grenada, Dominica and Saint Kitts, it’s safe to assume the 2015 cruise will be somewhere equally breathtaking.
During the lead up to the major prize draw, there are several other prizes to be won including cash, free spins, designer travel packs, designer luggage, spa vouchers and all expenses paid dinners.
The 2015 Fortune Lounge Cruise promotion is running from 1st of May to the 31st July, with the cruise itself taking place in September. To be in the draw to win:
- Head to Royal Vegas Casino and start playing your favourite casino games for real money.
- Rack up as many loyalty points as possible to secure entry to the major prize draw just by playing.
- For every 200 rewards points earned, you’ll receive one entry to the draw.
To add to the excitement and boost your chances of winning, there’s different promotions happening every couple of weeks including the Cruise Calendar, Level Up, Casino Heist, Pick a Perk and the Fortune Wheel.
Simply check your emails or sign into your Royal Vegas account to see the current promo of the week and check the conditions of entry.
Billionaires plans for new luxury casino on the Gold Coast
If you’ve ever visited the Gold Coast, you may have been lucky enough to spend your stay at the gorgeous Sheraton Mirage, the only five star resort in the area boasting absolute beach frontage. Hong Kong billionaire and gaming tycoon, Tony Fung, has just announced his plans to take over the Sheraton Mirage and transform it into a luxury casino resort, adding stiff competition to the nearby Jupiters Hotel and Casino.
The sale of the Sheraton has been disclosed as carrying a $160 million price tag, which is just a drop in the ocean for the massive $280 million vision that Fong has to transform the beachfront property to a cohesive casino resort precinct.
Fong believes the area is not living up to its true potential, with the proposed casino plan being targeted towards the Asian market. His plan is to pitch Queensland tourism to Chinas richest and most elite, with further plans to develop a luxury gated community that includes schools, a resort and sporting facilities in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Mr Fong, who is worth an estimated $6 billion dollars said that “The Chinese tourism dollar is already having a significant impact on the industry. I think we have only seen the tip of the iceberg.”
Whether or not Fong’s plan is approved depends on closed door negotiations between the Queensland Government regarding a new casino licensing agreement. The news of this plan has not been warmly received by Echo Entertainment, the group behind the nearby Jupiters Casino, who believe the Gold Coast is not big enough for two casinos to successfully run side by side.
With so many players now turning to the Internet for their gambling entertainment, the Echo group may be right, but if the plans are approved, only time will tell.
