Shangri La Tbilisi to incorporate Evolution Gaming dual play roulette

Evolution Gaming will bring a new concept roulette table to Shangri La Casino in Georgia.

The iGaming giant, which is one of the leaders in live casino solutions, announced last week it will install a bespoke Dual Play Roulette table. 


The dual play table combines land-based and online play at the same land-based table, in essence it allows those playing via the internet to play with those in the casino.

The dual play table will sit alongside other tables games like American roulette, blackjack and punto banco. It’s launch in the Tbilisi casino follows on from the Grand Casino Bucharest, Grosvenor’s Victoria Casino in London, Genting International Casino at Resorts World in Birmingham and London’s Ritz Club and The Hippodrome gambling venues (both in London) to install the latest offering from Evolution Gaming.

Soon online casino operators that are licensees of Evolution Gaming will have the option to offer the dual play table via their website, giving players a truly unique experience.

Darren Keane, the CEO of Storm International, the management company behind the Shangri La Casino was excited by the dual play roulette option.

“What distinguishes Evolution Dual Play Roulette for us is the quality of the solution and its truly bespoke nature,” Keane said.

“We have complete freedom to define camera positions and angles and shot sequences, for example. This means we can capture the feeling of being right here in our casino for online players who are unable to visit us in person.”

Many only casinos offer Evolution Games and they have multiple studious around the world, where live dealer games are played. The tendency to stream direct from land-based casinos is growing legs as both players and casinos look for the next online craze in iGaming.

Director of Business Development & Land-based Sales at Evolution James Stern said the company had recently opened a studio in Tbilisi with the partnership with the Shangri La a common-sense decision.

“Evolution recently opened its latest state-of-the-art studio in Tbilisi, so it makes perfect sense for us to install a Dual Play solution here too,” he said.

“Visiting and playing here will be a unique experience and our Dual Play Roulette solution extends customer service while also replicating the Shangri La experience for a wider online audience.”

The Shangri La dual play table, when it goes live in the coming days, is expected to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
